About Us

Over the past 25 years, RBSP has been involved in rendering service to the 
community via projects in the areas of Literacy, Health care and Livelihood support, Leadership development in youth through social service and protecting the environment.

Major Projects undertaken & Focused projects of the Club;
1. Adoption of 3 Government Schools in Bangalore. 
2. Safe Drinking water & Hand wash stations for Schools
3. Dialysis Care for Poor at Sri Krishna Sevashrama Hospital
4. Dental, Eye & General Health Camps for the underprivileged 
5. Blood donation Drives in association with major Blood Banks
6. Support for Orthotic and Prosthetic Aids for the underprivileged.
7. Supporting Para athletes was a new project that was taken up by  Donating a high end sports wheel chair to a para athlete to compete at National and international level. This is a project that can be termed as “work in progress”.

The COVID pandemic saw our club at the fore front of relief activities. Here are a few listed below. 

A sustainable hunger mitigation project for the Urban Poor in association with Hotels - popularly known as SANCHIGONDU

COVID Care Relief Centers (OCCC) were put up in partnership with BBMP giving out Medicines, Oxygen concentrator, ventilators etc in Bangalore. 

We also reached out to our rural brothern by supporting the rural PHCs with oxygen concentrators.  All the 17 PHCs in Mulbagilu taluk were equipped with Oxygen Concentrators during the peak of COVID                                                                                

Education Scholarships for COVID Affected students. During this year the RBSP has given education assistance through Fees amounting to about Rs.4.00 lac to various students who could not afford to pay their fees.  

Presently our focus is on Rural Education. The RBSP has rejuvenated a school at Thippenahalli and is completely building a school at Tholappali in Chikballapur District which would go a long way in educating atleast 300 students year on year. “Our aim is to teach our students to fish and not just give them fish”. 

Recognising Frontline workers of the Community is one of our way of saying thank you for those who are unsung heroes who are giving back to the society and expecting just a smile in return.
